Greenstreet Development and Vintage Housing held a grand opening of Vintage at Washington Station on Tuesday, October 15, in downtown Reno.

Vintage at Washington Station, a 205-unit affordable apartment community, is specifically for residents aged 55 and older. The development offers a modern, energy-efficient environment filled with enriching indoor and outdoor activities.

What sets it apart is that it’s all affordable for lower-income seniors (at or below 60% of AMI). The meticulous design including the building, floor plans, amenities, outdoor spaces, and on-site services, addresses the housing needs of lower-income senior citizens.

The opening ceremony included comments by developers, Reno Mayor Schieve, members of the Reno City Council, and representatives from the Nevada Governor’s Office, marking a significant milestone. The development signifies the commitment to providing inclusive and accessible housing options for the senior community in downtown Reno. Vintage at Washington Station is located at 265 Washington Street, Reno.
